Process Engineer (Wet Etch)

Overview
- Provides a strong level of support to the Production environment, utilising experience in process control and SPC [Statistical Process Control] in a high-volume manufacturing facility, primarily focused on Wet Etch. As a Production Engineer, there will be opportunity for work in other areas of the Process Line as well.
Key tasks
- Provide Production Engineering cover to the FlexLogIC-001 and FlexLogIC-002 production lines
- Improve turn-around between check completion and returning the tool to production use (if check unsatisfactory)
- Assisting with training & mentoring of Operators and fellow Technicians
- Lead SPC reviews of Process Checks using standard 6-sigma tools such as Cp and CpK to target improvements
- Facilitate and lead Continuous Improvement activities across the (Cleanroom) Production activities
- Facilitate and lead Non-conformance activities across the (Cleanroom) Production activities
- Establish & maintain key Production Operation documents for both FL001 and FL002 Wet Etch (OCAPs, SOP, Process Checks, Work Instructions etc.)
Qualifications and training
- Degree or post grad within relevant field
- Lean six-sigma
Skills and experience
- Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Software
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous working experience within a Semiconductor facility, preferably 24/7 operations
- Experience with statistical tools such as MATLab, Minitab or SAS-JMP
- Understanding of the importance of any Engineering improvements or work on the functionality of our devices
- Exposure to a variety of Semiconductor Processing Equipment
