Overview
- Works with OPS-Smart Factory Management team to understand, identify, and prioritize MES/SPC/Reporting related information systems requirements supporting Manufacturing Operations as assigned.
- May be tasked to oversee and develop team members of MES/Reporting team proficient in MES/SPC/Reporting packages and systems/techniques as required by the company at different stages of growth needs.
Key tasks
- Works with OPS- Smart Factory management team to understand, identify and prioritize data-driven opportunities and MES/SPC/Reporting related information systems requirements supporting Manufacturing Operations.
- Formulates MES related project prioritisation and resourcing strategies and establishes performance measures to evaluate outcomes of targeted solutions to data collection, processing, and warehousing.
- Supports the design, implementation and maintenance of MES data flow channels and MES data processing systems that support the collection, storage, batch and real-time processing, and analysis of information in a scalable, repeatable, and secure manner.
- Develops and upholds SOPs, methodology, criteria, standards, policies, and efficient procedures for gathering, retaining, and scrutinizing data.
- Ensures compliance with ISO audit best practices required by the company.
- Communicate insights and recommendations via internal reports to technical and non-technical stakeholders where necessary.
Qualifications and training
- Degree or above with major in Computer Science, Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Experience in Semiconductor volume manufacturing environment is preferred although not essential.
Skills and experience
- Experience leading a team of MES or Software engineers in a technical/managerial role.
- Strong experience in MES, SPC, EAP Tool automation Systems development, rollout and maintenance support.
- Proficient in relational database systems, scripting, and programming languages.
- Experienced in semiconductor industry standard packages eg. YMS, FDC is preferred although not essential.
