Overview
- Pragmatic Semiconductor are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Process Technician to join the OSAT Ops team. The successful candidate will be involved in operating and supporting our current R2R inlay assembly, and test processes.
- The successful candidate should have a background in semiconductors and or microelectronics. Have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to identify and highlight potential issues is a must.
Key tasks
- Carry out all tasks with respect to the risks assessments and SOPs.
- Never knowingly conduct an activity in an unsafe manner that may put yourself or others at risk.
- Report any unsafe working practices to your line manager or other appropriate person.
- Collaborate with team members to a successful outcome on tasks within the department.
- Suggest improvements in the culture of continuous improvement and challenge things in a respectful manner.
- Successful completion of training matrix for Technician level
- Successfully record all run results in the TBR app and the run plan. Paying special attention to carefully detail any issues.
- Follow OCAPs to identify route cause and implement suggested solutions
- Collaborate with engineering to implement improvements, process changes, or enhance product reliability and quality.
- Be able to identify failure trends and patterns and highlight issues to relevant members of the team.
- Support other activities in the department such as; R2R testing, Bendurance testing, Incoming antenna web inspection checks, Stamp testing, Microscope inspection and ESD checks in the general working area.
Qualifications and training
- Technical qualification in engineering or manufacturing process.
Skills and experience
- All work to be carried out with product quality being of foremost importance.
- Knowing when to stop an activity and highlight quality issues or concerns to the appropriate person.
- Experience in a similar manufacturing environment is preferred.
- SPC
- R2R processing experience
