Overview
We are seeking a Graduate / Associate Software engineer to join our growing team. At Pragmatic Semiconductor we are revolutionizing semiconductor fabrication with ultra-low-cost, flexible integrated circuit (FlexIC) technology that makes it quick and easy to embed intelligence almost anywhere. This role will be on site and as an Associate ATE Software Engineer, you will closely work with Developers and Test Operations Engineers to deliver consistent quality Automated Test Software. We are looking for someone who is well versed in automation and testing and finds value in creating testing tools to drive quality engineering excellence across our product delivery teams.
Key tasks
- Manage the deployment of new test systems to the production environment.
- Define, Implement and maintain standard procedures for the transfer of new systems to our manufacturing facilities.
- LabVIEW and Test Stand code development.
- Diagnose and debug issues in ATE Software on site.
- Gather verification data for new test system deployments and present reports to Test Operations.
- Provide support to Test Operations Engineers in their daily running and maintenance of production test systems.
- Make modifications to PCB hardware.
Qualifications and training
- MSc / Degree (Engineering / Computer Science) or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of LabVIEW (TestStand programming would be very desirable)
Skills and experience
- Experience with LabVIEW
- Source code control using Git (or similar)
- Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work within a diverse and muti site team
- Using scopes and multimeters to fault find
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience with using Test Stand to execute LabVIEW code modules
- Experience with Python
- Hardware fault-finding skills
- PCB design and modifications
- Experience with NI SMUs, PXI, cRIO, cDAQ
