Overview - What Will the Internships Involve? Pragmatic Semiconductor is delighted to offer several internship opportunities for the summer of 2025. We welcome applications from talented, positive individuals to join us. These paid internships will last approximately 12 weeks (starting in late June, early July) and provide excellent practical experience within a fast-paced, growing company. This internship will be based in Cambridge within the RF Applications Engineering Team.  

For an industrial placement, we would like to person starting nearer to September - but we are flexible.  

We have a strong track record of hosting successful interns, with a high percentage subsequently joining us permanently after completing their studies. Interns will benefit from the support of a dedicated line manager and will work both within their teams and cross-functionally to support the company’s objectives.

What Are We Looking For? As an RF Engineering Intern, you will work in our RF Application Engineering Team that translates application use case and requirements into technical specifications and develops RF systems  The project you shall be working involves PCB design around an FPGA and HF RFID. 

What will you be studying now? Degree, Masters or PhD, in Electronic Engineering whereby you are have experience in circuit-level, transistor level and electronic circuit level design.  An interest in NFC / RFID technology would be of great interest to us and this project. 

What would make you stand out from the crowd?  RF Design modules, PCB level Electronic Circuit design, Analogue Integrated Circuit, Digital Integrated Circuit, Advanced Analogue Integrated Circuit, Advanced VLSI Design are all welcomed modules that you ideally have exposure to.
