Here at Pragmatic Semiconductor, we are recruiting a Director of Corporate Communications to join our Marketing team in Cambridge!
The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for leading & developing the Communications strategy & effective execution of operational plans to engage, deliver & report communications to our core targets!
The role will set the communication direction, own the corporate messaging & empower internal teams to deliver effective 360 fully integrated marcomms. The lead will act as the Communications expert spanning marketing campaigns, corporate reputation, CXO profile & thought leadership programs, with full responsibility for driving media, IA & PA programs that support the business objectives to service our global reach.
The role will collaborate closely with the Director of Brand to optimise marketing impact to reinforce & amplify our outstanding value proposition & galvanise our position as an innovative technology FlexIC leader.
The selected individual will manage a team of 4 spanning: PR, IA & PA; Campaigns, Content & Events. The role is charged with setting team objectives, KPIs & deliver regular reporting as well as contribute to annual planning & reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- To devise communication strategy structured to drive relevant engagement & impact across the marketing funnel with our core target audiences
- To take responsibility for the communications mix spanning: PR, Industry Analyst relations, Public Affairs, CXO profile programs, Thought leadership program, Messaging, Campaigns and Events / trade shows
- To craft communication plans & tools & scale with internal stakeholders , as well as externally with key customers, partners & other ecosystem stakeholders
- To drive effective communications across 360 marketing programs – co-ordinating across the team - to improve significant results supporting company brand & reputation and ultimately impact business results alongside performance, supporting revenue & pipeline growth
- To support & drive a bold, creative & proactive culture that empowers whilst handling budget responsibly
- To devise & be responsible for the communication KPIs and lead regular reporting, & contribute to annual reviews & planning
Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Graduate/ equivalent with a degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
- Growth and strategic approach with a proactive, resilient & solution-based approach required for a scale up & driving the business through a period of hyper growth by rolling up your sleeves.
- Experienced communication leader with a consistent record of leading, building & curating B2B communications strategy & delivery of operational programs in the tech sector.
- Able to deliver outstanding communications plans & team management experience in mentoring to optimise performance.
- Ambition to seek out creative & innovative communication approaches with a good understanding of the latest communications trends & tools.
- Budget & reporting management experience.
- Experience of leading agencies – Public Relations, Public Affairs, Research.
- A self starter with ability to work under pressure & to tight deadlines.
- Outstanding project management skills.
Desirable
- Experience in the semiconductor / RFID sector.
