Overview
Pragmatic is seeking an outstanding Director of Corporate Marketing Communications to join its rapidly-growing Marketing team. Reporting to the SVP Corporate Marketing, Communication & Public Affairs, this is an exciting, strategic position with responsibility for leading and developing the Communications strategy and effective execution of operational plans to engage, deliver and report communications to our core targets: customers (across the value chain), public sector bodies (government, Industry Associations), media (T1, trade & vertical), industry analysts, talent & investors.
You will set the communication direction, lead the corporate messaging and empower internal teams to deliver effective 360 fully integrated marcomms, optimising marketing impact to reinforce and amplify our unique value proposition and galvanise our position as an innovative technology FlexIC leader.
You will be an experienced communications leader who relishes the opportunity to build a new category, develop and evolve communications to help scale the business, adopting creative and innovative approaches, with a finger on the media narrative pulse, to deliver meaningful impact on business growth.
We offer an excellent benefits package, with relocation assistance available. We would ideally prefer the successful candidate to be able commute to our Cambridge office for a minimum of three days per week.
Key tasks
- Devise communication strategy structured to drive meaningful engagement and impact across the marketing funnel with our core target audiences
- Responsibility for the full communications mix spanning:
- PR
- Industry Analyst relations
- Public Affairs
- CXO profile programs
- Thought leadership program
- Messaging – direction and associated assets
- Campaigns
- Events / trade shows – owned and industry - Ability to craft communication plans and tools and scale with internal stakeholders, as well as externally with key customers, partners and other ecosystem stakeholders
- Drive effective communications across 360 marketing programs – co-ordinating across the team - to grow the company brand, reputation and ultimately impact business results and performance, supporting revenue and pipeline growth
- Support and drive an ambitious, creative and proactive culture that empowers and motivates
- Budget management responsibility
- Provide direction, empower and lead a team, setting team objectives, critical metrics and deliver regular reporting
- Support the SVP Corporate Marketing, Communications & PA
Qualifications and training
Degree qualification in communications, marketing or a related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Skills and experience
- Growth mindset with a proactive, resilient and solution-based approach required for a scale up and driving the business through a period of hyper growth
- Experienced communication leader with a proven track record of leading, building and curating B2B communications strategy and delivery of operational programs in the tech sector
- Experience in semiconductor / RFID sectors (advantage)
- Strategic approach with the ability and desire to roll your sleeves up and drive delivery as and where required
- Team management experience, and ability to coach to optimise performance
- Ambition to seek out creative and innovative communication approaches with a good understanding of the latest communications trends & tools
- Budget and reporting management experience
- Experience of handling agencies – Public Relations, Public Affairs, Research
- A self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work at pace and to tight deadlines
- Outstanding project management skills
