Overview
Pragmatic is looking for multiple experienced, enthusiastic Process Technicians to join the OSAT Operations team. The successful candidates will be involved in operating and supporting our current R2R inlay assembly, conversion, and test processes.
Reporting to the Assembly Manager, the successful candidates will ideally have a background in semiconductors, microelectronics or a similar manufacturing industry. A high level of attention to detail and the ability to identify and highlight potential issues will be critical.
Key tasks
- Shift working to support the day-to-day activities required to enable successful high yielding inlay assembly and conversion processes by training to operating various complex machines.
- Support offline reel-to-reel testing and reliability testing.
- Monitor and re-order materials stock.
- Read and understand all documentations related to tools, including SOPs, risk assessments etc...
- Execute Engineering and production builds per instructions.
- Perform the set up and verification of equipment and process.
- Follow verbal or written instructions.
- Responsible for recording and reporting any equipment issues to leads and/ or supervisors.
- Follow security, safety, and quality procedures for all work performed.
- Keep track of daily goals, outs and yield percentages per assigned area.
- Be responsible for entering detailed data into spreadsheets & databases
- Execute first level of troubleshooting of process, product or tooling problem.
- Demonstrate ability to train others and work in a team environment.
Qualifications and training
- Minimum of HNC/HND in a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience of working in a semiconductor or microelectronics environment (advantage)
- Knowledge of R2R processing (advantage)
Skills and experience
- High level of aptitude in using Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Ability to follow either verbal or written instructions precisely
- Attention to detail
- Must be a self-starter capable of managing own activities as well as supporting team activities
- Able to demonstrate quick learning in past operation of complex machinery
- Experience of quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 8D etc (advantage)
