Shift Production Technician (Test)

Overview
- Working on shift to manage Test and LPROM wafer processing and Test report Generation and ascertain if process was successful or requiring a re-Test or post processing intervention.
- Work with OCAP’s/SOP for basic process or Tool troubleshooting.
- Initiate OCAP’s/SOP for ongoing improvements.
- Process wafers/Lots through MES, report lot trouble issue in detail and actions taken to resolve the issue(s).
- Expand role to include Golden wafer assessment, run Gauge R+R and reporting, run Calibration Test and reporting.
Key tasks
- Set up probe test for new reticle, including probe card and cabling, recipe selection, wafer and probe card inspection (Inc vendor incoming) and alignment.
- Assessment of Test data prior to publication to ascertain test was performed correctly.
- Set up recipe and run wafers on LPROM.
- Use of OCAPs/SOP for troubleshooting and issue reporting.
- Tracking of lots through MES, generation of Test requests and Wafer movement requests.
- Storage and tracking of Engineering material within the Test department.
Qualifications and training
- A relevant degree level qualification in a technical subject
Skills and experience
- Previous experience as a Technical Processor.
- Demonstrable use of MES and tracking systems.
- Strong ability to plan and report on Tool(s) and Process capability.
- Ability to work with multiple departments for Test reporting.
- Able to train and pass on information to colleagues.
- Knowledge and experience of Semiconductor Testing.
- Knowledge of Laser processing.
